ImpromptIQ
Think on your feet. Every single day.
ImpromptIQ is a speaking coach that lives on my Mac. I talk, it listens, and every rep gets graded on structure, pace and filler words.

- A fresh topic every day: ten seconds to think, sixty to talk.
- Every rep graded on structure with PREP and What, So What, Now What.
- Roleplays for the hard moments, like asking for a raise or pushing back on a deadline.
- Daily rings, quests, XP and streaks that turn practice into a habit.
How it works
Pick today's topic, take ten seconds to think, and talk for a minute
What was actually broken
Practicing alone had no structure.
I already knew from studying other communicators that speaking out loud daily, on a random topic, cutting filler words, building a stronger connection between thinking and speaking, is one of the most effective ways to actually improve. There was no way to track progress over time, no single place to review past sessions, and nothing tailored to how I actually learn.
What I tried, and got wrong
What I actually needed was structure.
I looked at paid tools and passed. It wasn't really about the cost. I knew I just needed to film myself.
What it does now
A daily speaking gym that costs nothing to run.
I record a rep, get structured feedback on delivery and content in seconds, and go again. Five units of lessons, built on the communicators I study, sit right next to the practice.
What changed
I built a curriculum around the communicators I actually study.
That includes a daily practice habit with AI feedback, and tailored practice for specific situations like small talk and difficult conversations.
